We Test It in Our Own Homes First
The Fred Store is an air purifier and robot vacuum resource built on actual dust, actual pet hair, and actual living rooms — not spec sheets.
How This Started
The Fred Store started with a living room that never quite felt clean, no matter how often it got vacuumed, and an air purifier that ran constantly without visibly doing much. After comparing real CADR numbers against marketing claims, testing filter replacement costs that never seemed to match the box, and finally finding a robot vacuum that actually handled the dog hair, it became clear that most of what's written about these products doesn't reflect what actually happens once they're running in a real home.
The goal here is simple: measure what actually matters — real coverage, real noise levels, real ongoing costs — and skip the marketing language entirely.
